Reflection on Digital Story
The person I had that overcame adversity was Mark Inglis. He definitely changed my perspectives and views on life and many other things. Mark showed me that you have to live life to the fullest, take every chance you get to do the things you love. He made me think about my own goals and dreams that I want to accomplish and I saw that he accomplished his, so if he could do it with a great disability then I can do too. It taught me that I need to be determined and driven, and if someone says “you can’t” or “it’s impossible” then you have to prove them wrong and show the world what your made of! He is a good motivation and influence to me.
While doing the digital story board I learned that you have to record your voice in different sections, so you can place your pictures with what you’re saying. Something I had trouble with was at the end it wouldn’t let me paste the whole citation cause they were to long so I used a print screen on the word document with all my citations and put it into paint and made it a jpeg, and inserted it as a picture at the end. It is better to write a script first because you need to know what you’re saying you can’t just wing it, also you don’t want to stutter while you’re trying to think about what you should say. The digital story bored is a good idea for almost any subject or anything where you’re trying to get a point across, give information, or to just entertain. For example you could use it in history for when you’re telling the story of Lewis and Clark.
